Dry more, clutter less
Stainless drying rods on a pulley ceiling hanger or a wall-mounted bracket — more drying space, and the balcony floor stays clear.
Who it is for
Cloth hangers are for households that have run out of places to dry clothes — a small balcony with a floor stand in the way, washing draped over chairs, a monsoon that stops everything drying. We fit two kinds: ceiling hangers, whose rods each lower on a pulley to load and then rise to the ceiling where the warmest air collects, and wall-mounted hangers, whose rods sit on brackets high on the wall.
Laundry hangs overhead or up on the wall instead of on a stand in the middle of the balcony.
A pulley ceiling hanger where there is a slab to fix into, a wall-mounted one where there is not.
Stainless-steel rods do not rust in humid weather or mark wet clothes.
Ceiling rods lower and rise on their own pulleys — no stretching, no climbing.
Our workmanship promise. A cloth hanger carries a full, wet load every day. We fix the brackets into the slab or solid wall rather than the plaster, fit rods in stainless steel rather than painted steel, and set ceiling pulleys so each rod runs smoothly up and down.
See it in place
A ceiling cloth hanger moves the drying line from the floor to the ceiling, and a wall-mounted cloth hanger does the same job where the ceiling cannot take one. Both use stainless-steel rods, so a small balcony can dry a full wash and still be used.
A cloth hanger pairs naturally with a balcony safety net or pigeon net: once the balcony is enclosed, it becomes the obvious place to dry clothes away from the birds. Ask us to measure for both on the same visit and they can be planned together.
A ceiling cloth hanger is a set of parallel drying rods hung from ceiling brackets, each on a pulley and rope, so every rod can be lowered to arm height, loaded and hoisted back up. A wall-mounted cloth hanger carries the rods on brackets fixed to the wall instead — the right choice where the balcony has a false ceiling or a ceiling that cannot take a fixing. Both use the space above head height instead of the floor.
Where it goes
Each ceiling hanger is a set of 6 or 8 stainless-steel rods in 4 ft, 6 ft or 8 ft lengths. Every rod is raised and lowered on its own pulley and rope, and the brackets are fixed to the ceiling with anchor fasteners set into the RCC slab. Wall-mounted hangers use the same stainless-steel rods on wall brackets, fixed with anchor fasteners into the wall, for balconies where the ceiling cannot take a fixing.
How it works
Tell us the city and what you want covered. A photo of the balcony on WhatsApp helps us understand the job before anyone visits.
We visit, measure every opening, check what the anchors will go into, and give you a detailed quote that names the material.
Our fitters mark the ceiling or wall, fix the brackets with anchor fasteners into the slab or solid wall, hang the rods, and run every ceiling rod through its full travel before handing over.
A WhatsApp photo is often enough for us to tell you which option suits it.
Questions
A normal family wash spread across the rods. Because the brackets go into the concrete slab or solid wall rather than the plaster, the load is carried by the structure. We advise on the number and length of rods when we measure.
A ceiling hanger gives the most drying space and keeps everything overhead, so it suits most balconies with a concrete slab. A wall-mounted hanger is the answer where the balcony has a false ceiling, a ceiling that cannot take a fixing, or not enough height. We check which suits your balcony when we measure.
It depends on the width of the balcony ceiling. We measure it and recommend the longest rod that fits with room to work the pulleys.
Yes. Ceiling and wall-mounted hangers are both fixed clear of the opening, so they do not interfere with a safety net, pigeon net or invisible grill, and both can be measured and fitted on the same visit.
No — the rods are stainless steel, so they will not rust or leave marks on wet clothes.
